Cost

The first thing you are going to want to know before you decide whether to invest in your book is of course how much it is going to cost.

Our estimates are provided free of charge but we do need certain details before we can give you a reliable figure (see the checklist). Because each project is so different in size, scope, nature and purpose, we evaluate each one individually, which means that we can’t give you a figure immediately. After careful discussions we tailor everything to fit your particular requirements and we then need a short time to prepare a set of proposals which will include all the costs involved. We carry out every aspect of book production in our offices in Lancaster except for the printing and binding, which we shop around for to get the best deal we can for you.

The total costs can vary enormously, depending on the size, length, format (eg hardback or paperback, with or without colour inside etc), with some projects costing a few hundred pounds, while others may cost thousands. We can offer you a range of choices to suit your budget and it will take approximately two weeks to provide you with a summary of your requirements, together with the costs of the production of your book.
